About The Position
The Shear Operator cuts steel bars of different diameters and lengths to specified dimensions for use in induction heaters on various forge presses within the Forge Department.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to add and subtract whole numbers.
- Ability to use reading and fixed gauges.
Responsibilities
- Set up small or large shear.
- Operate small or large shear.
- Operate a Raymond lift.
