About The Position

Exmark Manufacturing, a division of The Toro Company, is hiring a Shag Truck Driver at its Beatrice, Nebraska location. The role moves trailers between docks and their final destination points, verifies that products missing parts are placed in non-shippable locations, and operates motorized equipment safely. The driver is responsible for securing trailers at docks, inspecting and maintaining the truck’s basic cleanliness and condition, reporting operating deficiencies and damage or accidents, and maintaining a daily trailer-status log. The position also applies Lean methodologies to help ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved. The schedule is third shift, Sunday at 10:00 p.m. through Friday at 6:00 a.m. Starting pay is $26.46. A valid CDL is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. The role requires lifting or moving up to 10 pounds regularly, 25 pounds frequently, and 40 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Verify that products missing parts are in a non-shippable location.
Operate all motorized equipment in an orderly and safe manner and report operating deficiencies.
Move trailers to and from docks to their final destination points.
Ensure trailers are locked into place at docks.
Inspect truck tires, brakes, fuel, oil, and water, and keep the truck clean.
Report damage or accidents incurred during tractor operation to maintenance and supervision.
Maintain an updated daily log of trailer status.
Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved.
