About The Position

The Shades Institute is an intentional, hands-on learning community designed to equip individuals with biblical knowledge and practical ministry experience. Through guided mentorship, theological training, and immersive service opportunities, the Institute prepares participants to leverage their lives for the gospel. The Institute offers several programs: the Shades Residency (a 12-month program for recent college graduates called to ministry), the Summer Internship (a 9-week program for young adults aged 18-21 who have completed at least one year of college, for those discerning a call to vocational ministry), and the Ministry Fellowship (a 12-month program for those with a clear call to ministry and at least a high school diploma). The Institute focuses on developing next-in-line leaders for future vocational ministry.

Requirements

• Clear call to ministry
• Recently graduated college (for Shades Residency)
• Completed at least one year of college (for Summer Internship)
• Aged 18-21 (for Summer Internship)
• Completed at least a high school diploma (for Ministry Fellowship)
