The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Agora Institute is seeking a Communications Manager to develop and manage all external and internal communications and communications-related activities for the Institute. In coordination with the Institute Director and Managing Director, this position will develop and implement all institute communications, including but not limited to event promotion, branding, marketing, PR and media relations, and content creation for website, media, social media, newsletters and other publications, and other efforts. This position will coordinate closely on many of these activities with University Communications and the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences (KSAS) Communications teams. Given the very public nature of the institute and its importance to both KSAS and the University as a major strategic priority, this position requires a professional with significant expertise across all of the marketing and communications functions as described. The Communications Manager is responsible for the communications, marketing, and public affairs functions for a relatively small to moderately complex department or center and typically supervises a team. The Communications & Marketing Manager will shape and advance the communications strategy, messaging, and brand for local, state, national, and/or international audiences.
