The SGA Program Coordinator is responsible for advising and supporting various Student Government Association (SGA) departments and teams, including New Student Development and Communications and Campus Relations. This role involves weekly meetings with directors, attending council and team meetings, assisting with curriculum development, and facilitating purchases for events and initiatives. A significant part of the role includes managing the SGA Elections process, which involves hiring, training, and supervising the SGA Election Commission, creating timelines, and planning the annual SGA Inauguration event. The coordinator also co-coordinates the annual Tiger Pride Day, an advocacy day at the U.S. Capitol, and supports the SGA Executive Cabinet with campus initiatives. Administrative duties encompass fiscal responsibility, budget management, assessment, and managing calendars, event communications, and logistical needs. Additionally, the position supports various university programs and collaborates with campus and community partners, serving on committees and the CliftonStrengths facilitation team. The role requires flexibility for some evening and weekend work, as well as occasional travel.
