The SGA Environmental and Sustainability Affairs Director reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for chairing the Environmental and Sustainability Affairs Committee and the Green Fund Steering Committee. This role involves proactively addressing environmental and sustainability concerns and policy issues, developing relationships with campus sustainability coordinators and student organizations, and recruiting students for environmental initiatives. The Director will manage the Green Fund, attend student organization events, and may serve as the Vice President's appointee on university committees. Collaboration with other directors for campus-wide events and attendance at SGA Senate and Executive Staff meetings are also key responsibilities. The position requires a minimum of 10 hours per week in the SGA Office or related work, with specific documentation and transitional material handover at the end of each semester.
