The Step Forward with the Humanities (SFH) Program Coordinator will support the successful implementation of BCTC’s humanities-based educational initiative at Northpoint and Blackburn correctional facilities. This position plays a central role in coordinating program delivery, supporting instructors, and guiding incarcerated participants as they move through the SFH curriculum and prepare for re-entry. The Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Prison Education Program (PEP), Global Learning, community partners, and the Kentucky Department of Corrections to ensure smooth program operations. A key function of this role is to assist participants in transitioning into GED programs, the PEP, or community-based college enrollment upon release. The Coordinator also manages logistics, tracks outcomes, and serves as a consistent point of contact for students, staff, and external partners. This is a grant-funded position.
