About The Position

The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA), EPM Analyst Pool, Finance Tech role supports DePuy Synthes’ enterprise financial planning and performance management capabilities. This role partners closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial data through enterprise performance management (EPM) tools. The position plays a key role in enabling data‑driven decision‑making, improving forecasting accuracy, and strengthening financial governance across the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field (required).
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis, financial planning, EPM, or Finance technology roles.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends and insights.
  • Experience working with financial systems, EPM tools, or reporting platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • English proficiency required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
  • Experience with enterprise performance management tools (e.g., planning, consolidation, or reporting systems).
  • Exposure to Finance transformation or system implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial governance.
  • Experience in a large, complex, or global organization.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non‑finance partners.
  • CPA, CMA, or similar finance certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise performance management (EPM) platforms used for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and long‑range planning.
  • Prepare, analyze, and validate financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with financial controls and governance standards.
  • Partner with Finance and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into system enhancements, reports, and analytics.
  • Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of Finance technology solutions, including upgrades, enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling to support management decision‑making.
  • Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and planning cycles by ensuring timely and reliable system outputs and financial insights.
  • Document business processes, system logic, and reporting standards to promote consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, data quality, and finance process efficiency.
