About The Position
KI's Manufacturing plant in Bonduel has an opening on our first shift in our Upholstery Department for a Sewing Technician. The technician will be responsible to join, topstitch, and c-jex material for all multi-functional chair and stool lines with quality output. Employees must be able to complete the rotation between both sewing and working the c-jex machines. KI is employee owned and is growing!
Requirements
- Previous industrial sewing experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand 8-10 hours a day.
- Good eye/hand coordination.
- Attention to detail to provide good quality products.
- Ability to read a tape measure up to 1/32".
- Successful completion of a drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Join, topstitch, and c-jex material for all multi-functional chair and stool lines with quality output.
- Complete the rotation between both sewing and working the c-jex machines.
- Troubleshoot problems with sewing machinery.
- Rethread machines, wind bobbins and adjust edge guides.
