About The Position
This is a full-time position for a Sewing Room Seamstress at Mathis Mattress Manufacturing. The role involves operating various automated sewing machines to assemble mattress components. The employee will work at a specific station on the assembly line, performing sewing tasks for all portions of mattress manufacturing. Requirements
- Knowledge of merchandise

- Ability to lift merchandise of 50 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities
- Operate various automated sewing machines
- Lift and stack quilted panels, borders, etc.
- Sew borders, patterns, panels, etc. together using sewing machines and specialized equipment made for mattress production
- Work a specific station on the assembly line sewing all portions of mattress manufacturing
- Perform any other duties as requested by management
