About The Position
National Safety Apparel is hiring Sewing Operators to join their team-based production environment. In this hands-on role, you will help manufacture protective products that keep workers safe. Training is provided. The company has been in business for over 90 years and offers a supportive manufacturing team environment.
Requirements
- Ability to stand throughout the workday, walk frequently, and work in a plant environment with constant background noise.
- Basic English literacy to read and understand work instructions and communicate effectively in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Motivated, energetic individuals who thrive in fast paced environments.
- Self-directed team players who do their part to keep production moving.
- Detail oriented individuals with great hand eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Responsibilities
- Produce quality safety apparel using proper sewing methods, equipment settings, and measuring tools.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely.
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
- Work flexibly across your assigned production zone to meet team goals.
- Communicate equipment, supply, and production needs promptly.
- Collaborate respectfully with team members and supervisors.
