About The Position
Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for Industrial Sewers for an Automotive Packaging company in Shelby Township, MI. This is a contractor to hire opportunity.
Requirements
- Ability to operate an industrial single needle sewing machine.
- Ability to operate a double needle sewing machine is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with a double needle sewing machine.
Responsibilities
- Sewing automotive transportation bags ranging anywhere from 3 lbs to 30 lbs.
- Construction of bags include Velcro, and webbing attachment by means of sewing.
- Shelf attachment or assembly work for intermediate or advanced sewers.
- Building custom production orders.
- Working with bags of constantly different geometry based on the size and shape of the returnable packaging.
