About The Position

The Sewing Operator uses a sewing machine to join, reinforce, or perform related sewing operations in manufacturing fabric covers for upholstered furniture. The operator sews pre-cut fabric pieces to the quality specifications and Standard Operating Procedures for the assigned position, while working at a pace sufficient to meet production-efficiency requirements. This is an onsite role in Booneville, Mississippi. The operator obtains sew-kit bundles weighing approximately 25–50 pounds, sews them to established standards—including straight, aligned ½-inch seams, correctly sewn tabs, and 90-degree corners without rounded edges or drop stitches—and returns finished covers to the bundle for inspection and further processing. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work with hands and follow simple sewing instructions, and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
