About The Position

We are a leader in retail environments, retail marketing, and technology, dedicated to making retail better. We are looking for 1st and 2nd shift sewing machine operators to join our high-energy Print Production and Warehouse teams. This position is responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to complete hanging signs and graphics for retail displays using a variety of fabrics and materials in a high-volume production facility. Requirements

Ability to speak, read and write English
Available for weekend work schedules and overtime
Required to lift up to a minimum of 50lbs
Required to follow safety instructions and adhere to safety procedures

Responsibilities

Assembles graphics and hems per established work instructions utilizing Matic/Consew sewing machines.
Sews beading to fabric, applies hardware and fasteners, and uses decorative seams.
Operates sewing machines using foot lever and hand control, with the ability to QC product on the fly.
Aligns fabric, backing, aluminum stays, elastic, Velcro, and follows seams, edges, or marking.
Sews parts with various types of stitches such as vertical stitched or straight stitched.
Trims excess threads and edges of parts.
Uses gauges to ensure proper placement of stitches on each piece of fabric.
Sorts, folds, and stacks fabrics, borders, or panels as needed.
Changes needles and threads machines as needed.
