About The Position
The Sewer uses an industrial sewing machine to manufacture synthetic slings and other materials. The role includes fabricating and repairing synthetic slings and assemblies, coordinating order production with the Production Manager, and ensuring that work is safe and meets Bishop Lifting Products' quality standards. The Sewer also forwards test samples of fabricated items to the Production Manager as required and performs other functions as needed.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a production environment is required; experience with industrial sewing equipment is highly preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and pre-employment physical.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
