About The Position

The Settlements Analyst assigns payments to drivers, including independent contractors and employees, for completing customer orders. The role also provides general office and clerical support, processes daily billing for assigned customers, and assists with or performs payroll functions.

Requirements

Proven payroll experience, preferably in transportation or logistics.
Ability to learn and use multiple systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and critical-thinking ability.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Review and enter driver settlement pay items accurately and on time.
Process and maintain driver referral and sign-on bonuses, along with other miscellaneous deductions.
Prepare terminal manager approvals for driver settlements.
Import pay information into TMW for driver settlements.
Run audits to support payroll accuracy and compliance.
Perform daily fuel imports and audits to maintain accurate records.
Communicate with other departments to ensure accurate results and resolve discrepancies.
Research and resolve pay issues promptly and efficiently.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide general office support and perform related clerical activities.
Assist with or perform payroll functions as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the current manager.
