About The Position

The Settlements Analyst assigns payments to drivers, who may be Independent Contractors or employees, for completing customer orders. The position provides general office support and processes daily billing for assigned customers. It also assists with or performs payroll functions as needed.

Requirements

Proven payroll experience, preferably in a transportation or logistics environment.
Ability to learn and use multiple systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage spreadsheets.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and critical-thinking ability.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Review and enter driver settlement pay items accurately and timely.
Process and maintain driver referral and sign-on bonuses, as well as other miscellaneous deductions.
Prepare terminal manager approvals for driver settlements.
Import driver settlement pay information into TMW.
Run audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
Perform daily fuel imports and audits to maintain accurate records.
Communicate with various departments to ensure accurate results and resolve discrepancies.
Research and resolve pay issues promptly and efficiently.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Provide general office support, including clerical activities and related tasks.
Assist with or perform payroll functions as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the current manager.
