Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling real estate closings
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and residential title commitments
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Qualia is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage settlement files from title commitment through closing with a high level of accuracy and timeliness
  • Review title commitments to identify and resolve liens, encumbrances, and potential issues
  • Prepare and review closing documents, including: Settlement statements, Deeds, Affidavits, Corporate resolutions, Loan documentation
  • Finalize settlement statements, ensuring all title requirements and conditions are satisfied
  • Examine financial and legal documentation for completeness, compliance, and recording readiness
  • Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies as needed
  • Maintain accurate transaction files and follow up on outstanding documentation
  • Act as a key liaison between clients, lenders, banks, real estate agents, and attorneys to facilitate smooth closings
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and legal requirements
  • Identify and escalate high-risk issues to protect transaction integrity and minimize errors
