Requirements

  • Experience in real estate settlements, mortgage lending, loan operations, or accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is required.
  • Commitment to producing accurate work, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring documents and financial information are complete and correct.
  • Ability to manage multiple settlements, deadlines, and priorities while keeping details and communication on track.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with buyers, lenders, title companies, and team members.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, think critically, and navigate challenges to keep settlements moving forward.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion while reflecting Landmark Homes' values of excellence, integrity, growth, gratitude, and respect.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Hyphen and Sage Intacct is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of coordination and communication between buyers, lenders, title companies, and internal teams, providing updates and helping keep settlements on track.
  • Prepare settlement documents and closing paperwork, making sure details are accurate, complete, and ready for closing day.
  • Coordinate timelines, communication, and documentation to keep settlements moving forward smoothly and on schedule.
  • Review contracts, settlement documents, and financial information to support accurate closings and revenue reporting.
  • Process construction loan advances and settlement transactions within the company's accounting systems.
  • Support welcome-home preparations and other details that help create a memorable experience for new homeowners.
  • Partner with the finance and sales teams to help deliver a seamless transition from construction completion to settlement.
