About The Position

The Set-Ups role performs functions to meet production goals for customer orders by accurately selecting and weighing ingredients for blending. The position works in warehouse and production areas and includes staging ingredients for blending, maintaining raw-material integrity, and supporting inventory and cycle counts. The role requires adherence to food-safety, allergen-control, sanitation, and general safety procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least 2 years of warehouse experience in a food manufacturing environment.
Ability to comfortably operate standard warehouse equipment, including proficient operation of a forklift and load move system.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds continuously.

Responsibilities

Select the correct ingredients and provide accurate amounts of bulk ingredients for each batch.
Provide accurate weights of partial ingredients according to batch requirements.
Stage ingredients on pallets for blending.
Operate a forklift.
Follow established Allergen Control Program procedures as they apply to shipping, receiving, and warehousing.
Maintain the integrity of raw materials.
Assist with inventory and cycle counts.
Follow good manufacturing practices and maintain sanitation in the assigned area.
Follow all safety rules.
Help maintain a safe and respectful work environment.
