Requirements

The Pack Room Manager is the direct report Supervisor for the Set Up Technician and will direct the Set-Up Technician with any and all activities.

Responsibilities

Set the guide for the feeder to place the pan next to.
Set the glue controller to the appropriate setting.
Set the glue guns in the correct position.
Set the Multifeeder up with the correct timing.
Set the Polybagger up with the correct width film and correct type of film.
Set the Polybagger guides for width and height.
Set the Tape Machine up for the box being run.
Light maintenance on all of the machines on the lines. (Conveyors, Multifeeder, Glue Pots, Glue Guns, Polybaggers, Tape Machines, Heat Tunnels)
Correcting red light situations caused by the machines.
Keeping inserts in the Multifeeder during a run.
Refilling the glue pots.
Putting a new roll of machine tape on the taper.
Replenish the film on the polybag machines.
Fill Tiger Paper boxes.
Cardboard Removal.
Belt Cleaning.
Machine Wipe Downs.
Help out on an Autoline or Table Duties (exempt from exact KPI data).
Help Maintenance with a job they are doing.
INU Work (stickering boxes, stickering pans, stickering inserts, sorting pans etc.).
