About The Position

Georgia-Pacific is now hiring a Set-up Team Supervisor in Janesville, WI! This individual will report to the Maintenance Manager and will ensure there is repeatable accuracy with set up execution during tool changes. They will make sure signoffs are completed on every changeover and encourage knowledge to be exchanged from technician to technician and lead to technician. The successful candidate will bring ideas forward and inform leadership on issues with machines, tools and gaps for reliability of production. This role will be responsible for leading a team of set-up technicians comprised of three shifts to include weekend duty (approx. 13 employees). Requirements

Experience working in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Nice To Haves

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Experience and/or training as a set-up operator
Experience working in thermoforming and/or extrusion operations

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and build the capability of set-up team members through coaching and mentoring in the field as well as providing guidance and performance feedback
Foster a safe work environment, ensure set up technicians are practicing "best safe work practices"
Install Form and Trim tooling for thermoforming process and production needs
Ensure machine is set-up to produce quality parts and inspects forming station to ensure machine is in proper tolerance
Completes inspection of a forming machine’s function so it is operating safely and properly
Exhibits proficient troubleshooting skills related to all thermoforming process issues
Ensure that all parts meet correct material distribution and visual specifications
Properly records and documents information from Machine set up for future use
