About The Position

The Office of Events is a growing department whose primary function is to assure the events hosted by Utah State University, "Exceed Expectations". The primary purpose of this position is to work with a fast-paced team setting up and taking down chairs, tables, and stages for various events on campus. This is an ACA Variable position.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Able and willing to work 15-20 hours a week
  • Available to work on some nights and weekends, scheduled ahead of time

Responsibilities

  • Participate with other team members in event set up and take down to prepare venues and event sites with various organizations on campus
  • Show up on time to your scheduled shift
  • Work in an efficient manner
  • Maintain an up-to-date work schedule
  • Presents positive public relations image by representing self in professional demeanor at all times
  • Maintains good working relationships with internal staff and works cohesively with supervisors
  • Works closely with a wide variety of campus entities, including Facilities, Athletics, Faculty, Staff, Students and Admins as it relates to events
