About The Position

This position involves setting up and programming operating machines, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness through first test sequences. The operator will oversee machine ramp-ups after setup, support other operators, and assist maintenance with repairs, downtime prevention, and inspections. Responsibilities also include following documented procedures, maintaining accurate records, checking finished products, and ensuring adherence to all safety and production rules, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English
Ability to operate medium-complex machinery for use in inspection
Good visual acuity
Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with power tools
Ability to read blueprints

Responsibilities

Set up and programming of operating machines including accuracy and effectiveness checks in first test sequences
Oversee ramp up of machines after setup procedure and support Operators in operating the machines
Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines
Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking
Check finished product/product component and submits for approval
Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
