Set-Up & Delivery Technician
About The Position
The Set-Up & Delivery Technician is a full-time job with great benefits. The main duties of this role will be to put together equipment in the shop in Erie and help deliver to client sites in the local area. Ford Office Technologies, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Top Workplace and Pittsburgh Business Times Best Place to Work, is the area’s largest independent full-line authorized provider of the industry’s top four manufacturers for copier, printer, and multi-function product (MFP) technology – Canon, Konica Minolta, Kyocera and Lanier (Ricoh). Our family owned and operated business, headquartered in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, is continually evolving and growing to meet the ever-expanding needs of our customers. From data management to IT services, our main goal is to ensure that our customers’ businesses run smoothly and efficiently with an established company that they can trust. We currently support clients in Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, and Ohio. Our growth also incorporates expanding our reach, with offices in Pittsburgh, Hermitage, Erie, Monroeville and most recently our Niles, OH location.
Requirements
- Understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Clean driving record.
- Evidence of insurability.
Responsibilities
- Set-up and delivery of equipment.
- Order receiving, processing and fulfilment.
- Opening and closing the office each day.
- Schedule and prioritize tasks.
- Work with and contribute to a team atmosphere.
- Assist with Sales, Service, and Dispatch as needed.
- Work with customers, vendors, and co-workers at other Ford offices.
