About The Position

The Set-Up & Delivery Technician is responsible for the preparation, setup, and safe delivery of Kubota equipment to customers, as well as maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the dealership yard. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on business needs and performance. The right candidate will bring CDL experience and a background in equipment handling — but we are also willing to train and support the right person through CDL certification.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort working with machinery.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL preferred; candidates without a CDL who are willing to obtain certification will be considered, with company support available.
  • Experience operating and handling heavy or agricultural equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up new equipment for customer delivery, ensuring all units are in proper working condition prior to dispatch.
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections and complete basic equipment maintenance as needed.
  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure equipment is ready and meets quality standards before leaving the lot.
  • Safely transport and deliver equipment to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Load and unload equipment from delivery trucks with care, ensuring proper securement during transport to prevent damage.
  • Ensure all delivery paperwork is accurate and complete.
  • Represent Premiere Kubota professionally during customer interactions at the point of delivery.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard and equipment storage areas.
  • Organize and inventory equipment and materials to support efficient dealership operations.
  • Provide support to the service department and other operational areas as needed.
  • Assist with general maintenance tasks and projects as assigned.
