This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach HUN310Y1 – Advanced Hungarian. The course provides a synchronic and diachronic survey of the Hungarian language, covering grammar, syntax, stylistics, genesis and historical stages of the language, living dialects, basics of poetics, and selected problems in translation and language teaching. Readings will be in Hungarian. The estimated course enrollment is 30 students, with no TA support. The class schedule is Wednesdays 11am-1pm, and the delivery method is currently online, though it may change. The appointment runs from 1 September 2026 to 30 April 2027.
