This Sessional Lecturer position is for the KPE334H: Adapted Physical Activity course. The course combines theory and practice to introduce students to an integrated, biopsychosocial approach to physical activity participation for persons with disabilities. Students will learn fundamental principles and theories in adapted physical activity, a broad range of abilities, and ways to provide physical activity opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Learning opportunities include in-class discussions, tutorials, assignments, and readings. The role involves all duties associated with the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content, development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams, calculation and submission of grades, holding regular office hours, and supervising TAs if applicable. This course will be taught in person.
