This project-based course is an advanced study in how library, archives, knowledge management, information management and records management programs and services operate in specialized settings such as business corporations, law firms, hospitals, NGOs, not-for-profits, and government ministries and agencies. This is a community-engaged course with visits to and with practitioners and a professionally supervised 50-hour project which provides students with the opportunity to apply their information practice and project management skills and knowledge and to determine their suitability and interest in working in a specialized setting.
