This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach FAH346H1F Impressionism, a university credit course. The course focuses on the origin and development of Impressionism in France and Europe between 1860 and 1886, examining its social, political, and intellectual context. It covers painting, graphics, and sculpture by prominent artists such as Monet, Renoir, Degas, Pissarro, Sisley, Cassatt, and Morisot. The estimated course enrollment is 120 students, with an estimated 160 TA hours of support. The class schedule is Thursdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, currently in person, though delivery may change.
