The Department of Management and Marketing in the Edwards School of Business invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach COMM 247.3 (10) – Introduction to Indigenous Business in Canada at the Prince Albert Campus during the 2026-2027 Regular Session – Term 2 (Winter Session). This course examines the historic, legal, political, cultural, social, and economic contexts that shape Indigenous business in Canada, emphasizing economic reconciliation, respectful relations, and inclusive business practices. Students will explore diverse Indigenous business and economic development approaches aligned with their values, rights, and ways of knowing, and critically consider the role of businesses and institutions in advancing equity, supporting Indigenous sovereignty, and contributing to a more inclusive economy. The course is scheduled for Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 11:50 am, running from January to April, with an expected enrollment limit of 15. The delivery mode is lecture, and the location is Prince Albert, SK. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking time. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
