About The Position
This is a sessional instructional assistant position for the MMI1060H Finance course, running from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The role involves being available online during class hours for synchronous sessions, marking assignments and exams after careful preparation, meeting with students to discuss assignments, invigilating the final exam, and consulting with students via email. The use of Quercus is also required.
Requirements
- Graduate student in Finance or Economics
- Must have completed upper-level undergraduate courses and graduate-level finance courses specifically in Corporate Finance
- Must be comfortable running synchronous online tutorials and office hours
Responsibilities
- Being available online during class hours for synchronous sessions
- Marking assignments, having done suitable preparation (careful reading of cases)
- Meet with students on an occasional basis to discuss assignments
- Invigilating the final exam
- Assist in marking tests and final exams
- Use Quercus
- Consult with students by email
