About The Position

This position is for a Sessional Instructional Assistant (SIA) for the Consumer Behaviour course (RSM353) within the School of Management at the St. George campus. The appointment is for the Fall session, from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The SIA will be required to be in person for their duties. Courses may be online or in person depending on circumstances, so candidates must be available and comfortable with both.

Requirements

  • PhD, MBA, or Commerce degree with a strong academic background in Marketing
  • Strong written communication skills required
  • Must be in person
  • Must be available and comfortable with both online and in-person course delivery

  • Familiarity with the course materials and supporting educational concepts
  • Previous SIA experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assist in grading assignments
  • Proctoring final exam
  • Invigilate tests and exams as required
  • Holds tutorials and office hours
  • Other duties as assigned
