This position is for a Sessional Instructional Assistant for the course FAH291H5F History of Photography. The course examines the history of photography in Euro-American visual culture, exploring how this medium of mass communication has transformed perceptions and conceptions of art, society, and culture over the past two centuries. It reviews key imagemakers and areas of production, concluding with the impact of digital imaging. The estimated course enrollment is 75 students, with an estimated TA support of 1 TA for approximately 130 hours. The class schedule is Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm, with tutorials from 1 pm to 4 pm. The sessional dates of appointment are from September 8 to December 8, 2026.
