About The Position

This position is for a Sessional Instructional Assistant for the course FAH101H5F - Introduction to Art History. The course provides an overview of art and architecture from the past and present, introducing students to the discipline of art history and its methodologies. The focus will be on representative monuments and key approaches to interpretation. The estimated course enrollment is 300 students, with an estimated TA support of 4 TAs for approximately 140 hours. The class schedule is Wednesday from 3-5 pm, with tutorials from 5-8 pm. The sessional dates of appointment are from September 8 to December 8, 2026.

Requirements

• Graduate degrees in Art History is desired.

• Previous TA experience in an Art History course will be preferred.
