The Priority Assets Case Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of complex default servicing matters involving property-related risks, including code violations, demolitions, receiverships, title disputes, condemnation actions, abandoned properties, and other issues that may negatively impact collateral securing U.S. Bank loans. This role serves as a liaison between internal business lines, Legal, foreclosure counsel, and external law firms to ensure the Bank's interests are protected and legal matters are addressed efficiently and effectively. The Priority Assets Case Manager performs detailed research and analysis, reviews legal and property-related documentation, develops resolution strategies, and maintains comprehensive case summaries to provide visibility into portfolio risks and case progression. The position requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role regularly communicates with attorneys, paralegals, foreclosure firms, servicing partners, and business stakeholders, and is responsible for ensuring attorney-client privilege and confidentiality requirements are maintained.
