Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience
Ability to lift 50 pounds without restrictions
Service Now experience
Able to repair laptop and desktop units, including batteries, screen repair, motherboards, etc.
Ability to work independently
General PC troubleshooting skills

Responsibilities

Imaging of laptop and desktop devices
Perform break-fix repair as needed
Manage ticket queue and coordinate work accordingly, closing tickets in a timely manner with proper notes
Note tickets utilizing the provided note template
Enter notes or reason for ticket re-assignment if a ticket needs re-assignment
Use escalation paths set by Insight and client
Responsible for the Stockroom Repair service level agreement (SLA), ensuring repairs are completed once the machine is in full operational order and has a valid base image
Follow Asset Management protocols and deliverables to avoid client penalties and negative performance evaluations
Update Asset dispositions the day the equipment is being processed
Complete data certifications and review/apply actions to mitigate discrepancies and their reasons
Order parts and manage the return of warranty parts on time to avoid performance evaluation
Coordinate and provide accurate data of disposal items
