About The Position

The Services Sales Consultant (SSC) role is designed to help outline the optimal implementation journey for clients, leveraging services from Addepar and its certified partners. The SSC will be knowledgeable about implementation and adoption methodologies, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for clients and Addepar. They will be responsible for tailoring best-practice implementation plans, roles, and technology to meet specific client requirements. Throughout the sales process, the SSC will collaborate closely with the Sales team, including Account Executives and Solutions Engineers, and will engage with clients from C-level executives to operational personnel to structure and sell professional services. This role offers an opportunity to gain broader exposure within the Go-To-Market (GTM) organization, participate in the selling and solutioning process, learn about Addepar's sales, marketing, and positioning strategies, and contribute significantly to achieving growth targets. Recognizing that this may be a significant change, the role is structured as a rotation with a minimum one-year commitment, allowing for flexibility to stay, return to a previous role, or explore other opportunities. Addepar utilizes a market-based approach to compensation, with the starting pay determined by role, skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. The provided salary range is for base salary only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Represent services in sales cycles for prospects and existing clients, collaborating with the sales team to create high-quality services proposals, Statements of Work, and terms.
  • Collaborate with the sales organization on assigned opportunities to develop the Services Strategy for prospects.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer/prospect needs to effectively position the value of Addepar Professional Services.
  • Present Addepar Services solutions, offerings, and their value proposition to customers/prospects.
  • Partner with other Professional Services teams and Sales Engineers to establish a robust process for scoping required services for Addepar technology solutions, ensuring they meet customer business/technical requirements for scale and integrations.
  • Create and validate Professional Services Proposals and present them to prospects/customers.
  • Lead or support the Professional Services Statement of Work (SOW) and contracting process.
  • Contribute to elevating the Services Sales organization's strategic engagement and sales maturity, including collaboration with adjacent teams (Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations) to enhance the GTM organization.
  • Develop a strong focus on post-implementation sales of all add-on products, services offerings, solutions, and capabilities, such as business/strategy/advisory consulting, technical managed services, advanced implementation phases, and education/training/certification services.
  • Partner with Account Management to provide effective proposals to the existing client base for new services sales opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders (up to C-level) based on program management, product, and solution knowledge.
  • Assist in refining and developing methodologies, tools, and programs for Services sales execution.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales status, next steps, pipeline financials, and services forecast data in Salesforce.
  • Optimize communication and ensure effective knowledge transfer and hand-offs to support post-implementation activities.
  • Ensure CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) is modeled effectively internally to support Addepar's sales processes.
