About The Position

TSGi is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support a large-scale federal travel and expense modernization initiative serving civilian government agencies. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations that support mission-critical business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong platform development experience, a solid understanding of ServiceNow best practices, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions in an Agile environment. Candidates local to Herndon, VA are preferred and will be expected to work onsite four (4) days per week. Fully remote candidates will also be considered; however, West Coast candidates will not be considered. Per our Federal government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
  • Strong experience with GlideRecord, Script Includes, Business Rules, and client scripting.
  • Expertise in Service Portal widget development, Flow Designer, and scoped application development.
  • Experience designing and supporting REST-based integrations.
  • Knowledge of update sets, release management, and deployment best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Per our Federal government contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with certificate and keystore configuration, including mTLS, preferred.
  • Federal government experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and platform enhancements.
  • Build custom solutions using server-side and client-side scripting.
  • Develop Service Portal components, scoped applications, and Flow Designer solutions.
  • Create and maintain integrations with external systems using REST APIs.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, user story grooming, and technical solution design.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and ensure adherence to coding, deployment, and platform best practices.
