About The Position

Our client is seeking a ServiceNow Program and Delivery Lead to lead complex ServiceNow engagements across enterprise clients by combining delivery leadership, client relationship management, financial accountability, and Agile/Scrum expertise, while serving as a trusted advisor and delivery lead across multiple workstreams with deep implementation experience. This opportunity is remote with required travel to the DC area. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET or TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience leading and managing ServiceNow implementations.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to drive initiatives from initiation through delivery.
  • Solid experience with ITIL frameworks and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize competing demands.
  • Demonstrated creativity and confidence in independently leading and executing projects.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and production/operations methods.
  • Proven experience driving complex issues to resolution through structured analysis and problem-solving.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE SECRET or TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Formal training and/or experience in complex program management.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise IT operations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in security architecture, compliance frameworks, and data governance.
  • Prior consulting or client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Project Management Office (PMO) lead, ensuring all projects meet defined milestones and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Identify and raise issues and risks as needed, escalating when appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups and support adherence to Scrum methodologies, ensuring delivery aligns with ServiceNow implementation best practices.
  • Manage core project management responsibilities, including scope definition, resource planning, client and partner status communications, and ongoing risk and issue management.
  • Gain a clear understanding of project goals and ensure all deliverables are aligned to those objectives.
  • Act as the single point of contact to promote collaboration and drive alignment and agreement with customers on proposed solutions.
  • Establish and communicate quality expectations across the team to ensure consistent delivery standards.
  • Partner with the team to plan and schedule work, including defect remediation and refactoring efforts, while proactively preventing the accumulation of technical debt.
