About The Position

VSU – ServiceNow Developer. A ServiceNow developer is required to develop, test and deploy service request forms and workflow. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing service request applications on the ServiceNow platform to automate and improve business processes. The developer will also be responsible for developing test cases for functional and UAT testing, resolving reported defects, and performing integration testing using sample data. Troubleshooting technical issues through all phases of the SDLC, collaborating with the project manager on timelines, specifications, and budget, and implementing and monitoring changes to ensure a smooth transition are key aspects of this role. Additionally, the developer will conduct staff training on new procedures and provide regular project status updates to supervisors.

Requirements

• Expertise level understanding of ServiceNow Platform & its capabilities
• 3 Years good understanding of service-oriented architecture, software application architecture, and the ability to consult with customers about these topics
• 3 Years Exp w/ ServiceNow Platform/Software appl
• 3 Years Experience developing test scripts and plans
• 3 Years Self-motivator with the ability to work through stakeholder requests which may have high ambiguity
• 3 Years Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3 Years Strong focus on code quality and reusability
• 3 Years Outstanding critical thinking, communications, and personal interaction skills
• 3 Years Understanding of restful web services
