About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join their team. This role involves translating complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow. The developer will lead the development of ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices, and provide technical expertise to other developers. Responsibilities include developing, configuring, and enhancing ServiceNow applications, staying current with ServiceNow products and industry trends, conducting technical assessments, and providing recommendations for improvements. The role also involves conducting reviews of developed functionality, performing unit, system, and integration testing, debugging technical problems, and supporting the development of technical and functional documentation. Additionally, the developer will provide demonstrations of developed applications, participate in platform upgrade activities, and ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.

Requirements

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a DHS "PUBLIC TRUST" or "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Minimum of FOUR (4) years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Information Technology or Business is preferred)
• Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
• Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
• Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with an ACTIVE DHS PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
• ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CIS, or CAD is preferred
• Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST, preferred.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.

• Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
