About The Position

COLSA is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support our NASA Transformational Shared Services (NTSS) contract supporting the NASA Shared Services Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. This position will support the development, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications and solutions to automate and improve business processes. This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in the United States, excluding the following states: AR, CT, DE, HI, IA, KS, MT, NE, NJ, NY, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.

Requirements

  • Experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and enhancement.
  • Ability to develop workflows and scripts.
  • Experience developing custom ServiceNow applications.
  • Strong customer interaction skills for research, design, development, and delivery of solutions.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices.
  • Troubleshooting skills for software applications, system integrations, and multiple platforms.
  • Familiarity with system and software deployment planning and compliance standards.
  • Ability to evaluate hardware and software interfaces, operational requirements, and system characteristics.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining software and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend solutions to automate new and existing business processes using ServiceNow applications and modules.
  • Activate and configure ServiceNow applications to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Develop workflows and scripts to configure and enhance existing ServiceNow applications.
  • Develop custom ServiceNow applications from initial design through implementation to automate and improve business processes.
  • Work closely with customers to research, design, develop, and deliver solutions that improve business processes and functionality.
  • Assist in identifying and applying best practices for the development and maintenance of ServiceNow applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving software applications, system integrations, and multiple platforms.
  • Support system and software deployment planning and ensure solutions meet applicable software compliance standards.
  • Evaluate hardware and software interfaces, operational requirements, and overall system characteristics.
  • Develop and maintain software and technical documentation in accordance with organizational standards.
