About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to help translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow. This role involves leading the development of ServiceNow applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices, and providing technical expertise to other developers. The developer will be responsible for developing, configuring, and enhancing ServiceNow applications, staying current with ServiceNow products and industry trends, and conducting technical assessments to improve existing implementations. The position also includes conducting reviews of developed functionality, performing unit, system, and integration testing, debugging technical problems, and supporting the development of technical and functional documentation. Additionally, the role involves providing demonstrations of developed applications, participating in platform upgrade activities, and ensuring the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.

Requirements

• Must POSSESS and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "TOP SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain an approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
• Minimum of FOUR (4) years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Tampa, FL area
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
• Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine and Scoped Apps.
• Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST, preferred.
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD) are preferred
• Experience with web services integration, specifically Mid-Server, SOAP, and REST preferred.
• Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
• General understanding of financial management aspects (i.e., financial operations, financial innovation, internal control, risk management, etc.), particularly in a federal environment.
• Candidates with an ACTIVE "TOP SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.

• Debug and fix technical problems.
• Support the development of detailed technical and functional documentation.
• Provide demonstrations of developed applications to product owners and end users.
• Participate in platform upgrade activities, including regression testing and reconfiguration.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
