We are currently seeking a talented and motivated ServiceNow Business Analyst / Tester (ITSM / ITAM / Platform) for a Full-Time position. Job Summary: The ServiceNow Business Analyst / Tester will be responsible for requirements gathering, process analysis, and validation/testing of ServiceNow solutions. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams while ensuring that implemented solutions meet functional and operational requirements through structured testing and quality assurance practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (IT, Business, or related field)
  • 4–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or QA Tester
  • Experience with ServiceNow or ITSM platforms
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum environments

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow experience (ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, Service Portal)
  • Familiarity with test tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework
  • Experience with API and integration testing
  • ServiceNow CSA (preferred)
  • CBAP / PMI-PBA (nice to have)
  • ISTQB (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into user stories, functional specs, and workflows
  • Analyze and document current vs future state processes
  • Support ITSM processes (Incident, Request, Change, Problem)
  • Collaborate with developers and architects to refine solutions
  • Maintain requirements traceability matrix (RTM)
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Execute: Functional testing Integration testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Validate ServiceNow configurations: Workflows Forms Service Catalog items
  • Identify, log, and track defects and issues
  • Ensure requirements are fully met before deployment
  • Work closely with: ServiceNow Developers Solution Architect Project Manager
  • Support Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos)
  • Assist in release validation and production readiness
  • Create and maintain: Business requirement documents (BRDs) Functional requirement documents (FRDs) Test documentation
  • Provide status updates and reporting on testing progress
