About The Position

The Virginia Department of Veteran services is seeking a part-time business analyst. The Business Analyst/Tester will support all DVS applications by gathering and documenting business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into clear technical specifications, and coordinating with program staff and developers to improve workflows and system usability. The role also includes Quality Assurance responsibilities, such as creating and executing test plans, validating requirements, coordinating user acceptance testing, and documenting and verifying defects. This combined BA/CA position ensures our applications are reliable, efficient, and aligned with the needs of DVS staff and the Veterans we serve.

Requirements

• Experience in an IT environment with demonstrated technical knowledge which provides the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities.
• Three years relevant Experience with enterprise-wide integration architecture in .net environment required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors in computer science/information technology or equivalent of experience.
• 1 year experience in Business Analysis, Testing or Project Management.
