Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• 1 year experience required
• High School Diploma required
• Experience working in a service department or mechanical background
• General understanding of mechanical and technical terminology
• Organized and efficient with the available to maintain an flowing schedule
• Ability to clearly communicate
• Ability to work independently
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic math and vehicle repair planning

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnosis and estimate of initial repairs to vehicles at the auction.
• Ensures timely and accurate estimates on all vehicle repairs.
• Partners internally to ensure that vehicle repairs are done in scope on time.
• Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Develops estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor.
• Prepares repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required.
• Works with internal partners for approval on work to be performed.
• Verifies warranty and service contract coverage in developing estimates.
• Provides time estimates on repairs to schedule vehicles for auction.
• Maintains supplies, parts, and equipment necessary to complete quoted repairs timely.
• Coordinates service of vehicles after customer approval is received.
• Regularly communicates with mechanics and managers on repairs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
