About The Position

G & C Auto Body, in operation since 1972, is seeking a Service Writer Trainee for one of its Sonoma County locations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, multitasking, and possess an independent, proactive, and self-starting attitude with in-depth customer service experience. The trainee will learn to assess damaged vehicles, create estimates, work with insurance companies, order parts, and manage vehicles through the entire collision repair process.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service/sales background
• Ability to multitask, and manage several jobs at once
• Attention to detail and accurate
• Quick learner with a positive can do attitude!
• Ability to pass a background check and receive approval from our insurance partners
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Required to pass a drug screen prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess damaged vehicles and map the damages
• Input written estimates into our computer systems
• Work with various insurance companies/requirements
• Order parts necessary for vehicle repairs
• Follow vehicles through their entire collision repair process.

• Pay: $70,000/year (base hourly compensation of between 24 and 31 dollars)
