About The Position

Avondale Mercedes-Benz Grapevine’s Service Experience Associates (Service Trainees) assist with service department processes to provide an elevated client experience. The role is trained to handle tasks throughout the service experience with the aim of improving communication and the overall experience for clients. It includes support for service-drive activities, warranty and other claims, outbound client communications, and further training in other service operations.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Operator's driver's license; must be insurable.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Assist the Assistant Service Manager (ASM) with daily activities to ensure expedited client updates.
Understand and use current and future systems, including CDK, SDL, Text to Drive, and Voile.
Notify clients when repairs are complete and their vehicles are ready for delivery.
Assist with service-drive traffic.
Help the ASM team greet clients and start repair orders.
Review, send, and schedule Express Pay.
Review next-day appointments to support an elevated client experience at the time of appointment.
Process and submit extended-warranty claims.
Process and submit tire-and-wheel contract claims.
Process and submit claims for additional third-party coverage, including windshield and dent coverage.
Communicate with clients about special-order parts.
Contact clients about campaigns and recalls.
Conduct outbound customer-satisfaction follow-ups.
Participate in lateral support training in other service operations, including internal Assistant Service Manager work, warranty and booking, and the loan-car process.
