About The Position

Fox Motors is hiring a Service Technician at Fox Ann Arbor Nissan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The role contributes to the company’s vision of “Working together moving people throughout life” by building and maintaining customer trust and long-term relationships. The technician diagnoses and repairs customer and internal vehicles, with specialization in specific areas of repair and maintenance. Fox Motors is seeking someone with previous experience working with cars, a customer-focused approach, and motivation to perform in a growing environment.

Requirements

• One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Previous experience working with cars in some capacity.
• Customer-focused approach and drive to perform in a growing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform work listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Service Advisor to complete work in a timely manner.
